This weekend will be our last club event which is Battle of the Sexes held on the green. Green will be closed after that.

The official dates for the next Champion of Champions

1. The CoC Mixed Pairs were moved to 17 May, due to one player involved in a Bowls NZ event on the previous scheduled day, 4 May.
2. The CoC Pairs is 10 May
3. The CoC Singles is 11 May

The Bambery and Janet Lynch Trophy matches scheduled to be played today have been abandoned

RESULTS:

The Champ of Champ Triples were played last Sunday.

Our women – Tereska Knap, Suzanne Green and Viv Borrie reached the last sixteen but a loss to Johnsonville meant no further stages.

But well done ladies.

Johnsonville has reached the semi-finals

The men Keith Hastings, Hugh Galbraith, Greg O’Connor also reached the last 16 but lost to Tawa.

Tawa have reached the semi-finals

A grand effort gentleman.

Nina De Munnik playing with Victoria club mates Helen and Joanna have played through to the semi-finals.

Congratulations on a fine day’s work.

The Newtown men Kosi Aragias, Konelio Ailiao and Nathan Kirkino have reached the semi-final.

Well done, Newtown.

There are 24 Clubs registered with Bowls Wellington.

Today’s events saw 21 Men’s Team and 18 Women’s teams.

The Miramar ANZAC Classic Tournament a full Green of teams playing Fours, Pairs, Pairs, and Fours.

A magnificent day and enjoyed by all.

Carl Northcott began proceedings by reading the ANZAC Oath very well.

The team members received a tote of rum on arrival.

The flags of New Zealand and Australia flew high,

The overall Tournament was won by Scouse’s from Naenae.

Good luck to those playing in the Bambery and Janet Lynch trophies on Wednesday.

Men at Tawa and Women at Plimmerton.

National Bowls3Five will be played in Auckland next weekend.

The WKWM 1-5 Year representatives from Wellington, Kapiti , Wairarapa and Manawatu

will play in Wellington.- Women at Petone Central and Men at Upper Hutt.
